Roy Dalio is the founder of the world’s largest hedge fund. He predicts that China will emerge as a rival to New Y + London. He says:-
“Throughout history the largest trading countries evolved into having the global financial centre and the global reserve currency…I have been immersed in China since 1984 and bullish on China for a long time…and all the time I got scepticism – up until now…the capital markets are not only growing, they’re good investments, and the world is underinvested there”
Dalio is there but many are still the sceptics. When will the scales fall from their eyes? When will they realise the significance of what is happening in China? When will they realise that their prejudices are standing in the way of their understanding?
A thought – who has more human rights? A population of 1.4bn with 10,000 Covid deaths or a country of 280m with 200,000+ Covid deaths and rising by 4,000 per day?
Democracy is about Competence as well as One Man One Vote.
