A long-discussed trade, investment + defence pact signed between Iran + China provides further evidence of China’s emerging importance in world trade + world peace.
It sends a message to the US that it is not the only power in the process. China’s emergence over the next five years is growing evidence of an increasing role in international affairs. And the deal with Iran comes hot in the footsteps of strengthening trade relations between China + Israel, a country that has, significantly, failed to join in the US-led allegations of Xinjiang ‘genocide’.
Increasingly the world is polarised between countries falling in with the US, mainly white, protests against China + a majority of other countries including Israel + Islamic countries who refuse to endorse the US position.
There are two reasons;- first many countries simply do not believe that China is committing genocide +, second, countries prefer a sound long term relationship with China to one that is subject to unstable Washington forward-thinking.
The world is beginning to realise that China is ready to use its experience to find a way forward for Iran + Israel which guarantees both countries safety and prosperity.
