GOOD MORNING FROM LONDON #223 19 MAY 2021

China is playing a bigger role in the Middle East. First, China is Chair of the UN Security Council +, second, China has concluded a big oil deal with Iran. China has come of age on the international stage.

But is China, with an eye on the unproven US-inspired genocide allegations re the Uyghurs, showing a link between US foreign policy + escalating violence in Gaza with close to 200 deaths – many of them women + children? The US has used its veto to block UN Security Council resolutions critical of Israel.

And bear in mind Israeli bombing has targeted a building that housed the international media + the Arab equivalent of the Red Cross. If Russia were taking such action in Ukraine, the US would be shouting “War Crimes”.

Turn the focus to China/Xinjiang and ask “Where are the Uyghur bodies?” “Where are the Uyghur killing fields?”. They don’t exist. And yet it is China that is meant to be committing genocide.

The world is changing. China’s rise will have an impact in all areas of world issues/politics. Today the spotlight is turning to the M-East just as the US tries to impose a boycott of China’s Winter Olympics.
